Sometimes it is so boring to look at code in order to understand what have changed from release to release!

Your parser has rather big community and it would be great if there be a description of changes between releases!

Indeed -- though it will be almost exactly 'git log' output.

Probably, it is necessary to add some info about this feature of your tool in README?

All in all, I am sure that creating a file CHANGELOG.md is the best idea than using git log, even if it will be a duplicate of git log result.
