Digital Archive: Radio Shows #5

I have just migrated and copied/duplicated everything related to IHA from Rei, Chevette, and Misato onto NeNe. I have consolidated all known Civil Disobedience files into one folder and will be continuing to update weekly. Andrew/Dj Rasclin has digital recordings of his show, Over the Edge. I do not know if Kristen has been recording Decayed Lace. Ed does record Incoming Wounded, and he has an extensive backlog of several decades of his show on WEFT. I have been sample-archiving their shows for the last two years. These shows can be found on NeNe along with the Civil Disobedience and Civil Disobedience's Wed 2-5am recordings.

I do need to copy over the Civil Disobedience/radio recordings I've got on DethDrive 1 and 2.

[update 18.feb 2016] I took care of copying the radio recordings on DethDrive 1 and 2 over a month ago. Since I use the LOCKSS methodology towards archiving, I've been retaining the recordings on both DethDrive 1 and on Misato [not NeNe since it's currently tied up with another project].

I do not know if any of the Atlanta radio djs that had regular industrial (e.g. Will Rusk, Jenn Garner, Amanda, Will, etc), goth (e.g. Brian), or related techno (e.g. B.J.) shows recorded their shows. I also do not know if any of Atlanta's large pool of industrial djs, many of which did guest djing spots on one or more regular shows, recorded themselves. This needs to be looked into.

For Champaign, I do not know if Wheelz or the industrial djs on WEFT before him recorded themselves. Likewise, I do not know if any of the local oldschool regular or periodic djs recorded any guest spots on past and current WEFT industrial/gothic/etc shows.

I definitely know that at least one local Champaign industrial act (I Scintilla) and one local gothic act (i.e. Phil, Libby, her sister, and her husband Simon's band--Spiritual Bat?) have performed on WEFT. I do not have these recordings. I also do not have recordings for any industrial or related genre (gothic/noise/IDM) bands/performers. This is a serious oversight, which can maybe be fixed by going through old WEFT Sessions/etc.

I do not have any idea what the IMC's, Parkland's, UIUC's student, or any of the other noncommercial (or commercial) radio stations have in terms of recordings of industrial music radio shows or on-air performances.
