Yay! I've finally gotten around to renaming and editing the description for the group to reflect what's actually going on! The new name/loc is: https://www.zotero.org/groups/industrial_history_archives.
My next issue is figuring out where all the references/etc that I've been bookmarking for it over the last year or so have disappeared to. I am somewhat suspicious that this may be related to the fact that I've reached the maximum allowed space for broke bastards and that they would like me to pay for leeching more of their services/servers. Given that my archiving budget is zero--as it pretty much always has been--I'm probably going to have to delete the zotero libraries connected to my old jobs as a prof and as a research assistant. I'm not happy about that since I feel that's academic labor that's being lost--and may have to be redone later by someone else--but that's how it goes these days.
I've just made back-ups of all my zotero library files--both in my home library and in each group library--on Neo-Rei. I saved the description, notes, and files of each collection in several different bibliographic formats (CSV, JSON, MODS, DC-RDF, RTF, TEI, zoteroRDF). [I should note here that I got a number of errors while getting the IHA/SUP collection to export via zotero RDF.] Then I went ahead and deleted all my prior academic references on my home library in order to free up more space for IHA's home/group library.
I found some of the missing files in the "Unfiled" area of my home zotero library. I filed them and then copied them into the group library. I went through and deleted duplicate files. I did some other housekeeping on Zotero.
I just checked and found out that this had not saved me any storage space. After prowling around for a reason, I believe it's because the records and notes that I created as a RA for several DH projects are still on there and being used in group libraries. Therefore, I think the simplest thing to do will be to create another zotero account for SUP, and then I'll have that account take over the IHA library.
This is IHA's Zotero group. Here you'll find a bunch of 1) disorganized, yet industrial-related/significant bibliographic/research materials as well as 2) born-digital primary source materials.
