I am not really sure what can cause this. Try renaming your iDPS.xml in your
home directory, so it will be recreated. If there isn't one then the
application maybe does not have write permission for that directory for some
reason.

I'm having the same problem. I updated everything and ran jarfix. It still
won't open. Any help?

There has to be some guide or anything to help. The .jar worked about 2 days
ago.. Then just quit. I've reinstalled Java multiple times and googled
everything I could. It still won't open. Someone has to be able to help.

You do not have the same error. First guy has a corrupt iDPS.xml, you on the
other have a ClassNotFound error so most likely you are not opening it right.
Go to command line and type "java -jar iDPSv0.18r122.jar" in the same folder as
the file.

This is a stupid question, but what's the command line? Command prompt? or..
what?

Idk if this is what you were telling me to do, but I sent "java.exe" to my
desktop, as a shortcut, opened the properties and after the target, put "-jar
C:\iDPS v0.18r124.jar" and double clicked the java icon. It came up with this
message.

Also, if I type what you told me into the command prompt, it tells me Java is
not a recognizable command. So.. idk what to do >.<

OHH, ok ok ok. I went and set up my Environment Variables to let the command
prompt get to Java. I typed in what you said and it came up with this.

Delete your iDPS.xml, it seems your computer is complaining about it.
