Hi Zeb, just wanted to know hows the synder paper and project is going? Are you also working on fagin? We need to get it working.

Hey Urminder, nice to hear from you. I've been having a hard time getting into contact with everyone (I missed your issue post until just now). I can't use anything Google-based and Slack is also, unfortunately, blocked. So my main route of contact is through github.

You should look over the coding-group repository. I would like to start a little scripting group within the bioinformatics side of our lab. That will also be a nice venue for staying in touch in general.

Communicating through Fagin issues is also pretty good (especially since it is a private repository).

Anyway, I am working on the Synder paper. Are you on overleaf? I will push all my updates there. I am working currently on writing about related work (thanks for the file on synteny programs, by the way).

I will also be working on my rewrite of Fagin. This will take awhile to do well (I can't easily make an estimate yet). Getting Synder published is a first priority.
