To Reproduce The Shelly behaves like the product describes for 3 weeks and then the issue came up. The wiring is as described on the shelly website. Now the Shelly 1 reacts 5-10 seconds after the wall switch is pressed. Once the relay has switched and the Shelly is "awoken" - it switches the relay as expected. But if you wait for several minutes it's the same behaviour and it switches the relay long time after the wall switch. That's annoying. I tried to flash a new (probably the same) tasmota 6.4.1 firmware but the issue isn't gone.

Expected behavior Expected is that the Shelly switches the relay right in that time i press the wall switch - at any time.

This is most likely pure hardware problem. All this switch devices works on Principe "transistor as switch" if that transistor powers up relay. Because is inductive power relay has protection diode, and LC filter, coil and capacitor,, works on Principe that capacitor and coil always balance negative feedback from relay (another coil) if capacitor (most likely) is bad there will be issue as you describing.

You can preform simple test, take hairdrie and heatup module, dont worry you cant burn it and see how it works, sometimes caps when are hot gets capacity back

Thanks baha00 for your comment. I will try the hairdryer method at the weekend when i am at home again. If you are right - and it really seems to me like a hardware problem after your perfect description - thats really annoying because i've been waiting for those modules several weeks. I will contact the Allterco Support for this issue.

@scheilch Sorry that your device is faulty. Remember that the warranty from the manufacturer ends when you change the firmware. You should flash the original firmware back and test it. Thanks
