[Neo Geo AES] Operation Ragnarok: Freezes on Level Select #1115

While this game was never released on the AES, I have a converted cartridge that can run on my AES and can confirm that this doesn't happen on real HW.

a bit more research it can get past the level select, but its a bit random and I can't get it to play consistently

It's some kind of input timing problem. If you skip the snk and title screens too fast, the button inputs almost never register.

@CaptainLancer are you talking about an AES with a legacy AES bios ? Or about an AES modded with unibios ?

@barbudreadmon It's a legacy Japanese AES BIOS

@CaptainLancer Ok, i don't know the situation with AES japanese bios on ares, but fwiw this issue doesn't happen with AES japanese bios in FBNeo. It's specific to the AES english bios, meaning maybe it also happens on real hardware with that bios.
