Describe the solution you'd like I would like the multi-emulator to have a repeat tap function for recording gaming sensations, for longplay and so on. Describe alternatives you've considered BizHawk Movie, BSNES Movie Record Tool, e.t.c Additional context Some people think that Movie is used for TAS, but it's not only TAS, you can use it for walkthroughs and so on.

What does "repeat tap" mean?

Well, record a Movie (which captures gamepad clicks) and repeat them if the Movie is played.

Are you asking for a savestate based movie format? If not, I recommend an external app like OBS instead, it will work for all emulators. A savestate movie format will break the moment anything changes in the core.
