Updating Ares deletes Controller Configuration #1402

As i only tried for the n64 core, i don't know about others. Controller used: Switch Pro Controller (no ds4windows open)

OS: Windows 10 Ares Version: 136 Official

Settings are stored in the settings.bml file in the same directory as ares. You also mentioned an issue with saves in another issue. Are you sure you didn't delete or erase your settings.bml file somehow when trying to upgrade ares? Have you been able to reproduce this behavior upgrading to additional new releases? If you are just extracting ares to a new directory each time then settings won't carry over and you will need to set them up again. All settings are stored in the settings.bml file, in the same directory as ares.
