Heavy Fire freeze on Windows 11 #61

Hi, I remember play Heavy Fire titles from Steam with DemulShooter on Windows 10, It's work fine and now I try with Windows 11, It freeze the game when DemulShooter is opening.

I use Sinden Lightgun and I have try game called "Reload", It work fine so DemulShooter is compatible on Windows 11 but I have a problem with Heavy Fire.

Hi,

There is currently no plan to update my computer to Windows 11 or to install Windows 11 somewhere to mess with it. As 99.99% of the lightgun games emulated available today are running with Win7 and less, I won't be able to (and won't want to) do specific debugging for specific games with Win11,

I'm not even sure Win10 is still mandatory to play Lindbergh games with Teknoparrot anymore (?), or maybe the last HoD : Scarlet Dawn was developped on Win10...

Any way god knows what Microsoft changed with Win11 for DirectX and exe handling so....for now I'll add a notice in the wiki page for the game

I understand from your choice, there are many who have Windows 10 with lightgun but it is starting to lose market to Windows 11 (slowly).

I will attempt to report to Microsoft directly, hope there is a solution.
