Most of the users forget/omit to support their claims with authentic references. This leaves the claim weak (the other users doubt the authenticity of the claim).
When another user reads this claim, he may know of an authentic reference that can support that claim. But Arguman does not allow him to insert reference in the box.
His only option is to add another "because" node with the same claim, and then mention the reference. But this duplication of claim would be extremely confusing.
Therefore, any user should be allowed to add a supporting evidence (reference) to an existing claim.
