aria2 is a lightweight multi-protocol & multi-source, cross platform download utility operated in command-line. It supports HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, BitTorrent and Metalink.
I installed aria2 on my Debian box a few days ago - I wanted to try it. After installation, I tried to run it, but... nothing. whereis aria2 yielded nothing. The installation notes left by apt yielded nothing. I actually un-installed it b/c I thought the package must be broken/bfu.
And so I'm just curious - why name the command 'aria2c'?
