I read through the scoped storage section that you commented on as well as looked through some web pages about scoped storage but couldn't find anything to help me remove this restriction. I hope I can reach you with this and I sincerely wish for your aid, thank you for reading this problem of mine too, Irorpilla.

Specially, I just wanted to know if knowing how to grant jidoujisho access to READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE will solve this problem that happens when you install the SD card.

I would also suggest something like this: an option to give permission for Jidoujisho to access the root folder (top level to all storage)

My idea here is : Is it possible to grant full access for jidoujisho somehow if Jidoujisho can itself request it?

I want to clarify that I just want to see if it's possible for you to allow jidoujisho to gain access to SD cards image
