Console output and command line options? #7

New to github, so unsure if this is the right place to post suggestions, but it would've been amazing if we could interface with altWinDirStat through the command line and have a simplified output in the console, like for instance showing the 10 largest of anything, pushing data to a log file and in the future perhaps XML and so on.

I agree, but it's not gonna happen, for several reasons:

  1. I'm stuck with MFC, and it's a pain in the ass to get an MFC app to launch as a console mode program.
  2. I forked mainline WDS to rip most of the features out, and focus on performance/simplicity.
  3. The mainline WDS Dev is already thinking about some sort of persistence.
  4. Displaying the largest folders on the command line is exactly what du does.
