[Bug] Persistent Download Issue with uYouEnhanced #520

Describe the bug

When I try to download any video using uYou, the video and audio bars directly appear as if they are 100% downloaded, and the timers always stay at 00:00, with the status remaining as 'Downloading...'. The video never actually gets downloaded.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1) Open the application. 2) Open any video. 3) Click on the uYou icon at the top right of the screen where the video is playing. 4) To check the download status of the video, press the uYou button at the bottom right of the main menu. 5) The downloaded video(s) will appear in the newly opened tab along with their statuses.

Does the issue happen with the official YouTube from AppStore?

❌ No, I can't reproduce this issue in the official YouTube from AppStore

Additional context

My device was on iOS 17.0.4 before, and I updated it two days ago. I've reinstalled or updated uYouEnhanced several times before, but this problem still persists. (By the way, there's no issue with signing because the same problem was still occurring when you were distributing this tweak in iPA format. So that's actually not something new.)

This is a complex issue about signing entitlements. We are still learning about it, so there is no solution at the moment. Because you are using a paid signing service, you will have access to nice features like notifications and deep link. But, you lose file access, so the uYou downloads are never able to finish saving.

No deeplink won't work. Speaking from experience by using MapleSign PRO for signing. Because of this I use workarounds (Shortcuts) to open links in YT/Enhanced app.

Because you are using a paid signing service, you will have access to nice features like notifications and deep link. But, you lose file access, so the uYou downloads are never able to finish saving.

I have my own Apple Developer ID, which entitlement should I add to fix this issue please?

Perhaps allowing uYouEnhanced to have access to local files may resolve the issue. I'll give it a try via eSign. (No hopes tho xd)

I'm having the same issue. I used a signing service to get uYou back in late October and downloading videos worked fine. Decided to update the app by deleting the one I had, and redownloading it. Now downloading a video won't work, and also stays stuck at 100% without ever finishing.

I have a the same issue. stock on downloading 100% in new build, old build works just fine.
