[Bug] IPA Fails to Build with Error Code 9 #662

Closed BigBoiMan123 closed 5 months ago

BigBoiMan123 commented 5 months ago

Is there an existing issue for this?

Have you read the Wiki?

iOS/iPadOS version

iPadOS 17.0

Device model

iPad Pro 12.9" 5th Generation (M1)

Sideload method

Trollstore

Tweak version

v19.19.5-3.0.3

Do you use YouTube Premium?

❌ No, I don't use YouTube Premium

Describe the bug

After forking the repo and attempting to build the uYouEnhanced IPA, the action fails with Error Code 9 and the error message "[YouTube.zip] End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive." The IPA itself downloads fine in both the action and on my local machine (the link is fine). When I rename YouTube.ipa to YouTube.zip locally and try to unzip it it fails with the same error.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Fork the repository
  2. Enable read/write for actions in repository settings
  3. Manually trigger the "Build and Release" action
  4. Paste the download link in and run the action
  5. It fails Capture

Crash log (if the app crashes)

No response

Are you using the newest version of uYouEnhanced?

✅ Yes, I'm using the latest version

Does the issue happen with the official YouTube from AppStore?

❌ No, I can't reproduce this issue in the official YouTube from AppStore

Additional context

The Youtube IPA is v19.10.2 and was decrypted using TrollDecrypt.

Was the ipa not decrypted correctly or is the ipa you are using broken/corrupted?

BigBoiMan123 commented 5 months ago

How can I tell if the IPA was decrypted properly?

BigBoiMan123 commented 5 months ago

Also if I change the file extension to .zip in windows it extracts fine, so could it be an issue with unzip on mac?

Y’know what, I am not sure because I am not smart enough to decrypt any, but I do have this one I found that you can have. This one is a little older but should resolve your compiling problem. Hope it works?

Thanks!

No problem!

Also if you want to find a decrypted ipa it can be found here https://armconverter.com/decryptedappstore/us but it does require you to sign up or sign in on the site in order to download ipa files so you don’t have to go to that if you don’t want to.
