Most cubers are not color neutral. X-cross hint takes a significant amount of time for all sides. Giving a choice to select a side(eg. down) for which hint is generated will be helpful.

Added an option to choose which faces should display hints on d9dd3e9. Defaults to only D side, you can choose any side(s) you want. Should come out in the next beta.
