Not Working With "Saved" Tab Groups #19

Open fddn opened 3 months ago

fddn commented 3 months ago

as the title says, when any tab is within a group is using the "new" "Save Group" feature, the suspender doesn't suspend any tab.

Thank you for the report. I can confirm it's not working on tabs within a saved group. I'll see what I can do.

Just tried to use this extension with Google Chrome Dev 131.0.6724.0 and here are my observations:

  1. It does actually suspend the tabs that are within groups.
  2. After Chrome's restart all the suspended tabs within all the groups were emptied and appeared to be just new tabs

I'm not sure what the "saved" in the title is here about tho 🤔

There is an option when you create a tab group image

This setting saves the tab group into the history, and you can reopen the whole group not just the individual tabs

I can't reproduce this issue anymore on Chrome v129. @fddn are you still seeing the issue? If yes, can you tell me the step to reproduce the issue?

In Google Chrome Dev 131.0.6738.0 I don't see the "save group" option anymore. I suppose they would be saved by default now as there are corresponding labels in the bookmark bar for each group.
