Apparently there are some differences between the way Planetary, Manyverse, and Patchwork handle contact messages. See this thread: %iIZjYkXwiQjSxNJ3colTpqmuGA5pfP1tCRQUhnmeAk8=.sha256

We should probably verify that our implementation is as compatible as possible.
