Since the upgrade from Linux Mint 17 to 17.1 mariadb doesn't seem to crash anymore in gegesis (or at least is constantly shown as running) but the owncloud server is not responding for 10 minutes and then comes back to life. If the desktop client is still running it connects, starts discovering files and one minute later the server is once again not responding, and so on till I stop the desktop client.
Maybe this is not an issue with arkos/genesis but owncloud?
Looks like some broken files on the server caused the problem. After deleting them within owncloud (took a real long time) everything seems to work. strange that a broken mp3 can have such consequences...
Just after updating my owncloud dektop client on my linux laptop I got trouble with the cloud: Connection lost. I went to the login page of my owncloud (http) and could read "[2002] SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection refused" So I went into Genesis and noticed that the mysqld process (mariadb) wasn't running anymore. Clicking on the start-button for the process lets genesis load some time and bring me back with the database still not running. Alerts page in genesis stays empty. The crash of mariadb just occurs if my desktop client is running. Shutting it down and rebooting ArkOS solves the problem untill I start the desktop client.
If I can provide additional information to help identify the problem please tell me how to do so
