[BUG] Alpha 3.09.58 Resetting profile on login. #1532

What version number you are using? Alpha 3.09.58

What game client are you playing? Retail, Burning Crusade, Classic / Live, PTR, Beta 9.1.5 shadowlands

What language is the game client set to? English

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is. Profile resets to default on log in and reload. Rolling back to 3.09.58 beta resolved issue. Could have been a nightmare if profile wasn't backed up

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour, if possible: load a custom profile, reload or relog.

theres no code that runs automatically to reset a profile to defaults (the only place something even remotely like that is in the copy/import code which can only be triggered manually) so more than likely the saved variables file got corrupted in some way - which would mean the game would reset the whole thing

and you should always have backups
