1 year ago ive only seen that happen when youve deleted the layout ebing used by that location, but theres a warning for that now so when you log in do you get any warnings about a deleted layout or design?
have you double checked that the layout assigned to that location is the one youve changed the sorting in?

1 year ago I got it working again. Not sure exactly what it was, something with the category assignments under layouts.

What version number you are using? v31012
What game client are you playing? Retail, Wrath, Classic / Live, PTR, Beta Retail
What language is the game client set to? English
Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is. When selling or looting bags resort immediately. Option in config > settings> design styles > Bag [1001] > window> style > sorting is set to manually
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour, if possible: Open bag, sell to vendor or move to bank an item that is in the middle of other items. Bag will immediately resort. causing item sto shift in the bags.

Additional context Add any other context about the problem here. This is really inconvient when selling multiple items. Since one has wait between each sold item for the resort to happen, otherwise the items shift and result in a misclick on the next item. potentiall selling something unintended.
This seems to have happened just recently. It was wokring initially in dragonflight. It also seems to be ok for some characters but not others. However, it has slowly spread to each of my characters.
