[BUG] Higher level gear classified as junk #1999

What version number you are using? 31101.Alpha.2

What game client are you playing? Retail, Wrath, Classic / Live, PTR, Beta Retail

What language is the game client set to? enUS

Describe the bug On my level 79 hunter, soulbound level 80 items that would otherwise be usable are classified as junk.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have an item with a higher level requirement than your current level that would otherwise be usable.
  2. Have "Equipment" enabled in the vendor actions tab. image
  3. Item that will be a big upgrade when I hit 80 gets vendored automatically. This setting shouldn't exclude soulbound items that are only unusable due to their level requirement being higher than current level, since such items will be useful in the future.

the box next to it, item level, does what you want.

its default is true/ticked so at some point you've unticked it.

Thanks, that did it. That's a rather confusing name for that setting and I'd never have thought to look at it for this. "Item level" hasn't been used to describe level requirements on items since TBC.

What if it was renamed to "Ignore level requirement"?
