heroic vs normal item

if I assign an item to a category (for example the 655 version of 'Spire of 
Tectus') the heroic one is also placed in that category and vice versa.

category assignments only look for a match on the item id (its always worked 
that way), the variations (prefix, suffix, instance/raid type) are ignored so 
you will get what you are seeing

if the item is part of an equipment set then you would be better off using a 
rule as that matches on a much finer level

I made issue 711.  It is a partial duplicate of this one.

It is a request to silently track additional information with outfits so 
outfit-related rules can be kept simple.

I believe this issue has been resolved.
