WIP Bugfixes for running tests on Mac with .Net Core #85

I did a quick run of the project with botnet build and dotnet test on Mac, and made few changes to increase the number of passing tests on Mac. It remains to test this on Linux and Windows, but I wanted to open PR to see if you are interested in these kind of changes? And by the way, does the whole test suite pass on Windows?
