Mods stopped updating

Last night I updated a mod on steam and went to update it on my servers. I issued the command arkmanager update --update-mods --saveworld --warn @island and on every mod I received an error that the mod wasn't downloaded. I've tried using validate as well as all the different commands for mod install and reinstall. No matter what I did I get the same result. I then created a new instance and tried to install a mod and I got the same message there. Here's what I'm getting:

Check the permissions on your steamcmd directory - make sure your steam user can read and write to those directories.

chown -R steam:steam /home/steam/steamcmd

With the Operation not permitted errors, it looks like the cp command has been aliased to have -a as one of its default arguments, which breaks an assumption that cp without the -a option will not copy directories, and which cannot be undone as cp does not understand any --no-<option> options so we can't just use --no-recursive.

Try removing the file referenced in the above log, or try running arkmanager remove-mods 632091170

I've also made sure that the steam user can write to the directories. Any help is appreciated.

Please set steamdataroot=/home/steam/Steam, then try running arkmanager remove-mods 710880648
