No idea where to expose this issue/problem.
I am using ARMBIAN bookwork for AMLOGIC S912 board.
This is uname -a:
Linux GT1-Ultimate 6.1.50-current-meson64 #2 SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 30 14:11:13 UTC 2023 aarch64 GNU/Linux
It comes with xfce4 that has dark menus and ugly white dialogs. I tried to change style but there's only Numix.
I tried to install MATE. Mate installs fine but when I login to MATE and click the network icon, a dialog shows up.
"System policy prevents Wi-Fi scans". I am connected over RDP.
I tried to enter the password but it doesn't seem to like it. And again, and again... and this time, the dialog locks up.
I removed MATE and came back to xfce4 and this same issue still happens but now the icons for network and sound take more time to appear.
Some googling about the message, there are results that point that this addition does work but it doesn't.

This isn't the first time this problem happens. I always give a lil try to fix it but I end up giving up and reflash the image to the micro sd card...
