This would be an amazing feature to have implemented, i really hope this does get implemented at some point

"OpenColorIO (OCIO) is a complete color management solution geared towards motion picture production with an emphasis on visual effects and computer animation." It's the actual standard in production to share color management between multiple software, and be sure you handling the color the way. More than that it's the best way to integrate ACES color spaces in the software.

Should note that it's pretty common for OCIO applications to read configurations from an Environment Variable. which is how someone can also define custom roles for applications to follow, for example Substance Painter uses this
