How the 1.7 build going?

Actually, I'll wait for the release of v2.0 to try building again, since CMake build will not be avaliable from this version onwards. However, if you wanna try building v1.7 you can take a look at this commit to see the changes I did in each file I modified. Thus, you can try adapt it to the version you wish. If you achieve it, please submit a pull request!
