Call recordings user permissions #813

It would be great to include play/download permission option in user 
permissions, in order to be able to restrict access to recordings for 
individual users through call detail records.

This is an enhancement, not a defect.

Play and Download permissions now control the visibility of the Play and 
Download buttons (on the CDRs) separately, but at the Group level.  Explicit 
permissions at the User level are not (yet) available, but permissions are 
additive, and users can be placed in more than one group.

See recording_play and recording_download Permissions on the Group Manager.
