1. Is it possible to get the "write comment" button in raid-detail view? (popup, just like calendar / raid overview works)

1. Besides that being a "technical yes" - why do you need it? Can you give me a use case?
2. Sure. I'll try a few mockups.

Just to be sure - if this is going into the direction of "I (as a raidlead) want to leave a member a message" - I'm not sure if comments are a good thing for this. A user will probably not see a changed message in the calendar view. In that case it would be more of a feature request to implement a messaging system.

1. Yes 1.1. For consistency reasons (every other popup has it) :D 1.2. Its the logical place to go (at least for me), i'm interested in a specific raid, so i open the detail page to manage signups / eventually write a comment

On a second thought - forget about 1.1. - its different popup types.

I think its more intuitive if you can enter your comment somewhere on the raid detail page (button, envelope icon, whatever) - small popup, enter comment, save.

1. (yes, this is new)

a fourth icon (left side) for "comment overview" where you can see a plain list/table of all comments (useful for raids > 20 ppl with lots if comments - so you dont have to hover every user with comment icon).

this should be in addition to the popup solution we already have (which is pretty nice).

Uh - didnt read your entire message, shame on me :/ no - its not from a raidlead PoV, but "raid member" (at least the "writing" part).

raidmember should have easy access to write messages (why/when he will be late) raidlead (members also, but not in the first place) should have easy (read) access to those messages

i think a (private?) messaging system would be oversized - some sort of "wall" could be a nice addition (aka textbox + scrolling list of previous entered texts, no threading, no direct messaging - i think its also called "shoutbox"). (note: i dont think this should replace the current comment system)

I already improved the visibility of the comment badges in the trunk.

The remaining request can be included in the "raid log" feature that is planned for 1.2.

• Comments will move to a separate table, which can be handled like a chat history
• Comments will be seperated into "log" and "user" comments so they can be filtered
• There will be a log tab in the raid view, which will show all comments for this raid + a possibility to filter

So I guess this will already be quite close to what you requested although you will need a few clicks to get there. I also thought about adding a log tab to the profile section so that a user can see if there are any new log entries for him, but that'll probably move to 1.3, as the 1.2 feature list is already quite full.
