Extending and commutating the camera cable #3

Hello Arne! Do you have any ideas on how best to extend and commutate signals from the Raspberry Pi cameras? We'd like the tether to be ~2 feet long and want to commutate the signals through a slip ring. Curious if you've already tried either of these things. (we're doing some longer experiments that require the cable to be untwisted). Thanks for any help!

You could use a cable extender, e.g.: https://thepihut.com/products/camera-cable-joiner-extender-for-raspberry-pi Pretty easy to build yourself using two connectors and works pretty well.

I haven't tried a commutator.

Dear professor, I seem not to find any information about calculating the frequency of whisking. Would you please tell me how the frequency of whisking is determined in this paper(Neuron,2018)? Thanks a lot :)
