Not able to find a way to installe the inputstream, any suggestion?

arnesongit commented 1 month ago

If you running a Linux distribution on your Rpi4 please try to compile the addon by yourself like I described here. Then your version will match exactly to your Linux version. Why do you use still Nexus ? I prefer to use Omega.

Ok @arnesongit it works. About why not using Omega: I was waiting official release and update.... is there an easy way to update manually?

where you able to get hires working @diegoflyer ?

diegoflyer commented 4 weeks ago

@nasawyer7 I don't know what you mean with hires working but at the moment if I play hires songs they works... I don't know if some resampling is working on the background, I have to check better... Anyway to install inputstream.ffmpegdirect I use this: https://github.com/raspberrypi/bookworm-feedback/issues/200

For HiRes you have to choose a device type which has "Hi Res" in its name and you must have a working version of the inputstream.ffmpegdirect addon (with a working dash demultiplexer).

I chose hires and it works. I have raspberry pi 4 with digi+ hat

@diegoflyer I've been having lots of problems trying to get hires to work. I did select hires after inputting an apk, and I did select the correct working version of the ffmpeg addon. I am outputting audio over hdmi. Do you know how to select a working dash demultiplexer or how to fix that?
