This new value has been introduced in emacs 25 and makes this feature breaks as it's expecting a nil value only. This patch supports both

I'm currently on vacation without my laptop so I have no way to verify this. But it sounds like you know what you are talking about and the patch seems reasonable so I'll just go ahead and merge it :smile:
