I am trying to load the Admin Script in IE9 and I am getting the following
error.

SCRIPT5007: Unable to get value of the property 'initAuth': object is null or
undefined admin-main.js, line 22 character 3

I have not changed this script at all?

This works fine in FireFox, Chrome and Safari.

This is also a problem in IE8 on a different machine (Windows Server 2003)

Hmm, there should be a "friendly" error message displayed when you try to use
the admin panel from Internet Explorer, not a JS warning. I'll take a look into
why that warning isn't displayed.

Versions of IE older than 10 can't be used for the admin panel, unfortunately,
as they don't support CORS. Please use an alternate browser.

IE10 has major security issues - and has been restricted by our company for
client use - we support IE8 and IE9 (as well as FF, Chrome and Safari).

Not sure what we are going to do?

Use Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. The latest versions of them all support CORS.
