Does not work with safari 11 and Netflix #47

Button does not show up in Netflix, the plugin itself is not grayed out though.

Same here, after upgrade Pip is not working for Netflix. It does not appear in the player as it used to. Click the toolbar button does nothing.

nikitakatchik commented 6 years ago

Same problem here.

KPLehmann commented 6 years ago

(it works once if you deactivate the plugin and activate it again…)

vishae commented 6 years ago

I tried that, but I'm afraid it's still not working

dejwid commented 6 years ago

I found a workaround to handle the issue:

open youtube on a new tab, play any video in "PiPified" mode and then go back to netflix movie and click the "PiPifier" toolbar button. Netflix will be played in PiPified window and youtube will play inside the browser window (you can close that one then) Hope it will help 😊 🍿

I found that first pausing and playing on your Netflix video, then clicking the PiPifier toolbar button works! 😊

dejwid commented 6 years ago

@s-esha OK, I need to admin. Your solution is much better 🤠

pfranke commented 6 years ago

Workaround works only sometimes.

Any updates?

@s-esha your fix worked for me on amazon prime video.

disable and re-enabling extension did not work

brylee123 commented 6 years ago

Disabling and re-enabling extension worked for me for Netflix. (Was subtitles supposed to work before? It only seems to play on the original window, not PIP window)

zosman1 commented 6 years ago

Subtitles

This is part of the html, so is never really moved into Picture-In-Picture mode. A few videos actually embed them in the video itself, so thats why it will work for some places and not others

DavidMunch commented 6 years ago

Disabling and re-enabling extension also worked for me for Netflix.

jeffbax commented 6 years ago

Neither disabling and re-enabling, nor the YouTube attempt worked for me
