Both the current Tecendil and the handbook option seem to be possible in the General Mode, though I think the current Tecendil default is the nicer one. I don't think the Handbók
spelling is permissible though, no use of the long carrier is attested for the orthographic General mode.
I couldn't find an example for the Handboo*k
spelling in the Handbook with an o-curl, but you can see it in seen with the acute:
The current Tecendil default is attested in the Brogan Tengwa-greetings (DTS10) but I cant find an image for it right now.

I have questions about the double "o" on a short carrier though. Modern Tecendil places the second "o" above "k" along with the first one, and I am still curious whether it is legal to use a long "o" to denote the double "o" - see the screenshot below.
Does any of it make sense? What would be the ways forward?
