QCA9377 DRIVER NOT WORKING #303

I am using Lenovo e 41-15 with amd a4 graphics and qca9377 wifi chip. The qca9377 folder exists in lib/modules/firmware but wifi not working

Same issue on Dell Vostro 14 3468. i7 7500u and 8 GB RAM.

So apparently there is an incompatibility between linux kernel 4.14 and the wifi driver in version 6. Therefor removing version 6 of the driver solves the issue: sudo mount -o remount,rw / sudo rm /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/firmware-6.bin

Removing the firmware as @DerGoTo mentioned worked for me to get the wireless functioning. Special build Camd64OS_R80-12739.B-Special on Lenovo Flex 4-1130 80U30001US
