Hi Avi, thanks for the useful guide. Could I get the theme that you are using for rEFInd?

I'm guessing if elementary ever makes an in-house replacement for Ubiquity, rEFInd will be an option?

Hey there,

As for your second question, probably not. The wonderful @sdaitzman however is currently working on a dead-simple Mac application that will enable you to set up this whole dual boot with just a click.

The theme is http://sdbinwiiexe.deviantart.com/art/rEFInd-Next-Theme-407754566, with 3 modifications:

  1. I replaced the green background with a solid black background.
  2. It ships with an elementary OS icon, but doesn’t seem to detect it, so I just renamed the included elementary icon to os_linux (or whatever the linux one is called).
  3. I hid the reboot/shutdown/help and labels, which you can do by editing the theme specific config file. Like the rest of rEFInd, the config files have ample documentation, so just give it a read and it’ll be pretty obvious what to mess with.

I’d redistribute the theme with my modifications and host it on my GitHub, but I’m not sure what license (if any) the DeviantArt user assigned to his/her theme.

Let me know how it goes!
