Ridiculous false claim on their homepage: Code Redirect is the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge.

They also link to their facebook page with 13 likes

Tons of ads, same old story..

I had switched to a new computer and the subscription to this list didn't carry over when I synced my browser. Nothing to worry about :)
