Firefox 14+ only supports Fullscreen mode that is native to Lion. While not everybody is happy with how Lion handles fullscreen mode, this extension reverts the old behavior which plays nicely with Spaces.

If anybody is getting the white bar at the top of the screen, go to about:config and search for "fullscreen" then set browser.fullscreen.animateUp to 0 and restart the browser... I think that this fixed it for me.
I think it is related to the size of the window before going fullscreen. If the window is maximized with the green dot before going fullscreen, then I get the white stripe. If it is smaller, no stripe.
