gemini_install.py with data/ fails #424

If we just wget gemini_install.py and then run it with the relative path of data/ it errors (I think because it first installs the data files there and then clones gemini to the curdir and gemini/data overwrites that).

This is a pretty specific case. I'm not sure if it should hold up the release.

Good catch. Agree we should fix it but save for next release.
