DUP and DUP:TANDEM #270

Hi, I noticed that the lumpy vcf header included both DUP and DUP:TANDEM sv types. I am wondering if lumpy's DUP are actually just DUP:TANDEM, since PE and SR can only detect DUP:TANDEM? Thanks much.

Hello,

I had the same question: what is the difference between DUP and DUP:TANDEM in the final VCF output? Thank you in advance for your help!

Yes. DUP refers to a tandem duplication.
