Building this project with jdk-11 requires version upgrades to archive
dependencies. Given this project has been dormant for 5 years the version
jumps are large, hence there are code changes needed in this project to
a line with code changes in the archive dependencies.
In order to stay focused on getting the project to compile cleanly and because
some of the code changes needed will required a significant about of time
and expertise to resolve I am taking the strategy of filing issues against
the code issues I can't resolve and disabling the offending code. This issue
(document) has been created to group and track those issues. The issues
tracked here can not be started until issues-1270 has been merged.
