The old telegram-purple was able to communicate with Chatty (https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/chatty). Is there anyway of integrating tdlib-purple with chatty? This will be much better than using Telegram desktop on a linux phone.

That app looks like yet another libpurple UI so any libpurple plugin including tdlib-purple should work with it

@vitalyster I installed all the tdlib packages and is not finding it for some reason. I think it lacks something. telegram-purple works right away

@giovannicaligaris you should run the app in debug mode somehow to see libpurple debug log, it will show which plugins are loaded and which are not with the reason

I have exactly the same issue. The purple-whatsmeow is also affected - there is no new protocol in the list but the log says that the plugins are loaded without error. I tried to use pidgin and was able to configure both of them! Next I returned back to chatty and find out both of modules in the list of configured accounts! So, I enabled them and now I'm able to receive messages (I see system notification about) but I can not read them in chatty as far as there are no messages in the list. So, I believe it must be a bug in chatty.
