Shearlab is a Julia Library with toolbox for two- and threedimensional data processing using the Shearlet system as basis functions which generates an sparse representation of cartoon-like functions.
Given that there aren't any other shearlet packages on the horizon I think it would be OK to grab the name Shearlets.jl, to be more aligned with Wavelets.jl. It also makes it more clear that it's focused on the Shearlet transform, and not modeling mechanical shear forces or something like that.
Hi, I understand that, but the problem is that this packages is based in a Matlab library developed by the Research Group where I collaborate, so it needs to maintain the same name with the same GPL v3 license.
