Hey, I wanted to suggest that this GUI can be extended to compare the duplicates to filnd for example 2 videos that are the same but one is shorter than the other - so the user can decide the file he prefers Morover, if one video includes original sound, and the other a random mucis sound - the user can prefer to stay with original audio. another thing: if one video is original and the other has blurred faces or a watermark - the user will deicide his prefernces

Seconded! I ended up using a script to extract the first frame from all my videos, and then used dupeGuru on the resulting image files to detect duplicate videos, but like you said, there are several trivial techniques that can be combined, and it would be a great feature.
