I'm facing a challenge similar to the one described earlier, where dupeGuru successfully identifies duplicates based on rotation and minor edits but doesn't recognize mirrored images as duplicates. It would be incredibly useful to have an option (perhaps a checkbox) that allows the program to detect mirrored images as duplicates as well. This feature would significantly enhance the tool's functionality, especially for users managing large collections of images where mirrored versions are common.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
No, it is not related to any problem
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like a picture which is the same as another image but rotated (#345) or mirrored to be considered as a duplicate. In this case, instead of the percentage of resemblance, it may be pinpointed a label showing
rotated
ormirrored
.Describe alternatives you've considered
There are no solutions. I had to find the mirrored images manually.
Additional context
Nothing special. Please ask if more details are needed. I would make a PR, but I am not a developer and I wouldn't even know where to start,.
