Currently the Summary area on the Package details page is mostly ignored by users, and does not provide useful at-a-glance information. Example issues include:
Assumes all packages are AIPs, and highlights AIP creation details - this means the area is useless if viewing information about SIPs, PIPs, or DIPs - or even AIPs that were created outside of Enduro but are still stored and registered in the system
Actual Package details area is not being populated - currently object count and package size are always "N/A"
For many clients who are just creating AIPs and storing them (i.e. just running 1 workflow), the current page's "Workflow status" and "Last workflow status" are just duplicates
Other potentially useful information is not included on the page
Expected behavior
Propose the following changes:
Make the left side "Package details" - do not associate it with only AIPs, or with AIP creation
Begin storing and displaying useful information about the packages, such as size, object count, date of ingest, date of storage, etc
Move the (still unimplemented) "View metadata summary" button below the package details
Move the download button to the Location area
Change the previous "Package details" section on the right column to a "Last preservation action" summary area
Include the last workflow's Workflow name, status/outcome, start and end times, and workflow ID (for troubleshooting if needed) there
