A channel in an already exist Slack is a good idea too.
IRC dor the win ... No, seriously, if listeners want to have a slack channel we should create one, but to me its not clear what will happen to this issue tracker (discussion forum). Will it still be used for each episode? What will be discussed on slack and what here on github? Just want to ensure that there are not 2 communication channels for the same purpose ....
Several podcasts I listen have pretty similar structure with chat for live discussions and website with comments for long-lived questions/discussions, works fine :)

@artem-zinnatullin so is there slack channel or not yet? You mention in ep8 with @pakoito some channels as well... Is it possible to post list of those somewhere (other podcast's channels as well)?
@ewoks hello there! I was talking about this Slack chat https://androidchat.co/ and Kotlin's Slack, we don't have public Slack chat of this podcast (yet, or probably won't ever)
Should we do it or not? cc @sockeqwe and listeners
Slack is the best chat I've used in like 15n years and it opens direct way to communicate with hosts and other listeners regarding and not regarding to the podcast.
